I've been reading more about TRT and HRT and how hormonal changes can affect things like libido mood energy and general wellbeing. What interests me is how different everyones experience seems to be. Some people notice changes in libido or energy while others seem to notice improvements in mood or sleep first. I'm curious how people separate hormonal issues from things like stress poor sleep diet or lifestyle. For anyone who has monitored their hormonal health what symptoms made you look into it in the first place? Did you focus mainly on blood tests or did you also track how you felt day to day? I'm not looking for specific treatment recommendations just interested in hearing how others approached the topic and what they learned about maintaining better endocrine balance
Libido was one of the things that made me start paying more attention but I quickly realized it wasn't the only factor. Sleep and stress can make a huge difference as well.
I think the biggest mistake is assuming every change in libido is hormonal. There can be a lot going on so I'd rather look at the bigger picture
Dude TRT and HRT are serious medical treatments not just performance tools. Getting proper testing nd working with a doctor seems like the right starting point.
Brother what surprised me was how closely sleep seemed connected with everything else. When my sleep was poor energy and motivation were usually down too.
I like the idea of tracking symptoms over several weeks rather than judging everything from one day. Hormonal changes aren't always obvious immediately.
I think keeping things simple helps tracking how you feel over time can reveal patterns that you might miss from a single blood test.
Hormones definitely are not the whole story. Training load & recovery & stress & sleep can all have a noticeable effect on how you feel man
