Share your go-to high-protein meal prep recipes
Meal prep recipe thread! Drop your reliable high-protein meals that actually taste good and reheat well. I'll start with a chicken burrito bowl: rice, seasoned chicken, beans, salsa, a bit of cheese. ~45g protein and it keeps all week.

Love this thread. My staple is a big batch turkey chilli:
  • Lean turkey mince, kidney beans, black beans
  • Chopped tomatoes, onion, peppers, garlic
  • Chilli powder, cumin, paprika
  • Serve over rice or with a baked potato

Makes 5-6 portions, ~40g protein each, freezes brilliantly and tastes better on day two.

Egg muffins for breakfast prep - whisk eggs with spinach, peppers and a bit of lean ham, bake in a muffin tin. Grab 2-3 on the way out, ~20-25g protein, zero morning effort. Keep a batch in the fridge all week.

Oh the egg muffins are a great shout, easy grab-and-go.

Overnight oats with whey and Greek yogurt for a no-cook high-protein breakfast - oats, a scoop of whey, yogurt, milk, berries, leave it overnight. ~35g protein and it's basically dessert. Perfect for busy mornings.

As a busy mum my go-to is a sheet-pan dinner: chicken thighs, potatoes and veg all seasoned and roasted on one tray. Minimal cleanup, big batch, the kids eat it too. Swap the seasoning each week so it never gets boring.

Tuna pasta salad for an easy cold lunch - wholemeal pasta, tinned tuna, sweetcorn, light mayo or yogurt, peppers. High protein, no reheating, lasts a few days. Boring-proof and cheap.

These are brilliant, exactly what I wanted. Burrito bowls, turkey chilli, egg muffins, overnight oats, sheet-pan dinners, tuna pasta. That's a full week sorted. Thanks everyone, keep them coming!
