After heavy leg days or deadlifts, I’m wired and can’t fall asleep at all. Anyone got go-to ways to calm down after late workouts and actually get good sleep?

I usually take a hot shower and it helps me wind down.
Try cutting workouts a bit earlier if you can. Late heavy sessions always mess with sleep for me.
Magnesium before bed + no phone = huge difference. Knock out way faster.
Lowkey a short walk after the gym helps too. Brings your heart rate down and relaxes you.
I switched my heavy leg days to weekends for this reason. Weekday nights were rough lol.
Keep lights low after your workout, no pre-workout late, and give yourself like an hour to chill. Helps your body come down.
Appreciate it guys… gonna try magnesium + cooldown routine and see if that fixes it
