I’ve been on creatine daily for years now. No breaks. Anyone seen legit studies or personal issues from long-term use?
Long-term creatine has been studied a lot and looks safe for most healthy people. My doc hasn’t ever flagged it as an issue.
I’ve been on daily creatine for years too. The only noticeable thing is I stay more hydrated no real downsides for me.
Some folks stop and start just to reset habits, but I don’t think there’s strong evidence that cycling creatine is necessary.
Good to hear. I keep hearing myths about kidney damage, but haven’t seen anything real yet.
Kidney stuff only comes up if you already have issues. If labs are normal and you stay hydrated, most docs are cool with long-term use.
I got bloodwork done every 6 months and creatine never caused any flags. Labs stayed normal even after years.
I’d watch hydration and caffeine intake together creatine pulls water into muscles, so if you’re dehydrated it can feel weird sometimes.
Appreciate the real talk. Looks like long-term is solid as long as I keep labs in check and stay hydrated. Thanks for clearing it up.
