Been feeling drained after morning lifts. Thinking of throwing in 20–30 min naps midday. Anyone notice better recovery or gym performance from doing this, or is it placebo?
Bro naps are anabolic. 30 mins and I wake up ready to smash another workout. Just don’t overdo it or you’ll wake up foggy.
I nap after my leg days if I can. Makes a huge difference. I feel like my body actually repairs faster.
Yeah, that’s what I’m hoping for. My legs stay sore for 2 days after squats, figured maybe naps could speed that up a bit.
Science backs it. Even 15–20 min naps can lower cortisol and improve growth hormone response.
I’d rather hit a caffeine nap drink coffee, crash for 15 min, wake up wired and good to go.
Never tried that combo. Coffee + nap sounds wild but might give it a shot lol.
Only time I nap is when I’m deep in a bulk. More food + more sleep = more growth.
Can’t nap. If I lay down mid-day, I’m out for 2 hours and ruin my night sleep schedule lol.
Honestly, naps help more than preworkout sometimes. Especially if you’re training twice a day.
