MSM Supplement - Anyone tried it for joint support?
Going down the supplement rabbit hole again... MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane). It's often paired with Glucosamine. Does this one actually do anything on its own?

MSM is a sulfur compound. Sulfur is a key building block for joints/cartilage. The evidence is decent, actually! It seems to be effective for reducing soreness and inflammation. I rate it higher than Glucosamine, personally.

I've used it. I found it helped, but you need a decent dose. Like 3-5 grams per day, not the 500mg you see in some formulas. It's pretty cheap to buy as a bulk powder.

Interesting. 3-5 grams. Good to know. Thanks, folks.
