Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Seeing these new AI training apps pop up everywhere promising “smart gains.” Anyone actually tried one? Or is it just fancy math telling you to bench more? 😂
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Tried one for a month it basically told me to do the same split I was already running but called it “adaptive.” Bro, that’s not AI, that’s common sense with good lighting 😂.
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Yeah man, most of ‘em just track your lifts and adjust volume a bit. Cool for data, but it ain’t smarter than experience. Still gotta grind either way.
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
That’s kinda what I figured. They all sound like they reinvented progressive overload or something. Might just stick to my notes app lol.
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Some of them are decent if you’re new though. I used FitAI when I was starting out helped me with form tips and deload timing. Once you know your body, you outgrow it fast.
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Bro, I used one called RepMind it literally told me to max out two days in a row 💀. AI trying to end my lifting career before it starts.
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Lowkey though, the tracking features are nice. Syncs with my watch, logs sets automatically. I hate typing everything in mid-set. That part’s a W.
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Real talk I think AI workouts are good for consistency, not optimization. It keeps you accountable, but it ain’t gonna replace knowing your limits or when to push heavy.
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Facts, that’s what I wanted to know. I might use it for tracking, not training. Still trust my pump instincts over some algorithm 😤.
Re: Are AI Workout Apps Actually Worth It?
Exactly bro. No AI can predict a good pump day or when you’re feeling alpha. It can’t read vibes, only reps 😂.
