For those of us with desk jobs, staying mobile can be a challenge. What are some of your favorite stretches or movements to do right at your desk to combat stiffness and aches?
Neck tilts and shoulder rolls are a must. Also, seated glute stretches and wrist stretches are great for those of us who spend all day typing.
I do seated cat-cows and seated spinal twists. It really helps release the tension in my back from hunching over the keyboard. It's a quick way to feel better.
A few minutes of stretching can make a world of difference. It's also a good mental break to re-focus. I like to do a standing pec stretch against a wall.
These are all fantastic. It's about small habits that add up. A few simple stretches can prevent a lot of chronic pain down the road.
For sure. It's proactive injury prevention right at your workplace.
