Which Biohacks Are Actually Worth It?
Biohacking has become a huge category but the evidence isn't equally strong across everything. Cold exposure, light therapy, supplements, nootropics, sleep trackers and various recovery devices all get marketed as if they're game changers. The research is more mixed and even confusing for example recent work on whole body photobiomodulation found possible sleep benefits but no clear evidence for improved exercise recovery or performance. Cold water research is also becoming more nuanced with effects depending on the type and timing of training. So I'm not against biohacking I just think the best hack is testing one thing at a time and asking whether it actually improves something measurable.👍
Re: Which Biohacks Are Actually Worth It?
I started keeping a simple note of how I slept and trained whenever I tried something new it made my decisions much less based on guesswork.

I’ve definitely bought things because they looked impressive online Now I give myself time to see if I actually notice a difference.
Re: Which Biohacks Are Actually Worth It?
The one at a time approach helped me a lot. When I changed five things together I had no idea what was responsible for the result.
Re: Which Biohacks Are Actually Worth It?
I’ve found that the basics are still my best benchmark If a new gadget doesn’t improve on my normal routine I don’t keep using it.
Re: Which Biohacks Are Actually Worth It?
Tracking doesn’t have to be complicated either a few notes on sleep energy nd training performance are enough for me.
