Do You Guys Still Do Cardio When Bulking?
Trying to keep endurance up without killing my gains. Do you still mix in cardio during bulk season, or just rely on lifting intensity to keep conditioning?
Re: Do You Guys Still Do Cardio When Bulking?
Yeah, I still do light cardio 2–3x a week. Mostly incline walks post-lift. Keeps my appetite up and helps digestion during a heavy bulk.
Re: Do You Guys Still Do Cardio When Bulking?
Honestly bro, I dropped cardio completely during bulk last year and felt sluggish as hell. Now I just do 20 mins bike twice a week and feel way better.

You won’t “kill your gains” unless you’re doing marathon sessions. Short, low-intensity cardio actually helps recovery and nutrient delivery. Don’t fear it.
Re: Do You Guys Still Do Cardio When Bulking?
I have my athletes do 2x 30-min Zone 2 sessions weekly year-round. Keeps their conditioning solid without cutting into strength. Bulking isn’t an excuse to get winded walking stairs 😂
Re: Do You Guys Still Do Cardio When Bulking?
Nah, I’m old school bulking. No cardio, just eat, lift, sleep. I’ll suffer through cutting season later lol.
Re: Do You Guys Still Do Cardio When Bulking?
Bro, hybrid training is where it’s at. I run 2 miles twice a week + 4 lift days. Still gaining and my endurance went way up. You just gotta fuel right.
Re: Do You Guys Still Do Cardio When Bulking?
If you’re eating enough, a bit of cardio won’t hurt. I like sled pushes and battle ropes – feels like cardio but keeps it “lifting style.”
Re: Do You Guys Still Do Cardio When Bulking?
I only do cardio on rest days. 30 min brisk walk outside. Clears my head, keeps the fat gain under control.

People forget that your heart’s a muscle too. Keeping it conditioned makes your lifts feel easier and recovery faster. Moderate cardio is underrated.
