Avoiding Plantar Fasciitis: Foot and Ankle Mobility
Foot and ankle health is often overlooked until you get a nasty case of plantar fasciitis. What are some of your best tips for keeping your feet healthy and mobile, especially for runners?

I do a lot of calf stretches and use a lacrosse ball to roll out the bottom of my feet. It's painful, but it really helps relieve the tension.

Towel scrunches and alphabet tracing with your foot are great for building up the small muscles in your feet. I also avoid wearing super rigid shoes all the time to keep my feet strong.

I think proper footwear for your specific foot type is super important too. A good running shoe can make all the difference.
