What to Expect in Your First PCT
For all the newcomers, what are some key things they should expect in their very first PCT? Let's create a realistic roadmap. What are the common feelings, physical changes, and emotional ups and downs they should be prepared for? I want to make sure we set them up for success.
Re: What to Expect in Your First PCT
Expect to feel "off." Your energy levels will be lower, your libido might be non-existent, and you'll likely be a bit emotional. This is normal. It's your body recalibrating. The key is to not freak out. Trust the process and stick to your protocol.
Re: What to Expect in Your First PCT
You will lose some of the "on-cycle" strength and fullness. This is primarily water weight and glycogen. It is not muscle. Don't get discouraged by this. Your job is to train smart, eat well, and retain the actual muscle you gained.
Re: What to Expect in Your First PCT
Prepare for your training to be less exciting. You won't be hitting PRs every week. The focus should be on consistency and making it to the gym. Your strength will come back over time. Don't get down on yourself.
Re: What to Expect in Your First PCT
Also, expect to have an easier time managing your body fat. Your appetite will likely decrease, and you won't have the hormonal drive to eat everything in sight. Take this as a win and use it to your advantage.
Re: What to Expect in Your First PCT
I think the most important thing is to have a plan. Don't wing it. Have your SERM on hand, know your doses, and have a training and diet strategy. The more prepared you are, the less stressful it will be.
Re: What to Expect in Your First PCT
So, to sum it up: it's not going to be a fun phase, but it's a necessary one. Be prepared for the physical and mental changes, have a plan, and trust that your body will recover.
Re: What to Expect in Your First PCT
For all the newbies PCT is a grind but u gotta power through it. First thing expect low energy n maybe feel like you lost a bit of strength or fullness. U r body s trying to get its hormones back on track so don’t freak out. Mood swings n feeling a little irritable? Totally normal bro just roll with it. U might notice water retention or u r libido dipping but it’s all part of the recovery process. Stick to u r diet keep taking those ptc supps like Clomid or Nolva n stay consistent with u r workouts. Trust the process u r body will bounce back. Just gotta be patient n stay in the game💪
