I’m trying to increase my overall endurance in the gym. After 45 mins, I’m toast. Anyone found a good balance between heavy lifting and conditioning work?
Start by adding just 5–10 extra minutes of lighter work at the end of sessions. Small jumps add up without frying you.
Supersets with accessories helped me a ton. Not crazy weights—just enough to keep the heart rate up.
Yeah supersets might be a good idea. I need something that builds capacity without making the main lifts suffer.
Try doing your warm-ups faster. Same weight, shorter breaks. It builds capacity without touching your working sets.
Honestly, walking on an incline for 15–20 mins a few times a week boosted my training endurance more than anything.
EMOMs with light weights are killer for conditioning. Just once a week is enough to see improvement.
EMOMs scare me a bit but maybe that’s exactly what I need. Might start with something easy.
Don’t underestimate sleep and carbs. Most people gas out because they’re under-fueled, not unfit.
Do one “higher volume” day per week. You’ll adapt without burning out from doing it every session.
