Timing is everything in PCT. When is the right time to start your protocol after your last injection or oral dose? And how long should a typical PCT last? I've seen protocols ranging from 4 to 8 weeks. What factors should influence your timing?

It all depends on the ester of the compound you used. For a long-estered steroid like Test Cypionate, you need to wait until the drug has cleared your system, which can take up to 2-3 weeks after your last shot. For orals, you can start the next day. Starting too early is a waste of time and money.

Exactly. The rule of thumb is to wait for the compound to clear your system. This is often referred to as "waiting for the half-life." You want your body to start signaling for testosterone production again before you introduce the SERMs. You can google "steroid half-life calculator" to get a better idea.

The length of PCT depends on the severity of the cycle. A short, light cycle might only need 4 weeks. A long, heavy cycle might need 6-8 weeks. Listen to your body and, most importantly, get bloodwork to confirm you're back to baseline.

And it's not always about a strict schedule. If you get bloodwork back at the end of a 4-week PCT and your numbers aren't where they should be, you need to extend it. Don't just stop because the calendar says so.

A good strategy is to start with a standard 4-week protocol and then use bloodwork as your guide. If you're not recovered, you add another 2-4 weeks at a lower dose. It's an adaptive process.

To summarize, wait for the clearance of the compound, use bloodwork to guide the length of your PCT, and don't be afraid to extend it if your numbers aren't where they need to be. Patience is key.
