Between lifting, eating, and life, I struggle to squeeze it in. Curious how many sessions per week most of you are doing and what kind.

Honestly? 2x a week tops. Mostly incline treadmill or sled pushes. I used to skip conditioning completely but once I added it back, recovery and appetite actually got better.

I’m at like 3 short sessions. Nothing crazy 10–15 min post-lift. Bike sprints or battle ropes. Keeps me from feeling like a bloated mess during bulk 😂

Yeah that’s kinda where I’m at. I overthink it and then end up doing nothing. Short post-lift stuff sounds way more doable than trying to add separate cardio days.

Depends on the phase. Cutting? 4–5 sessions easy. Off-season? Maybe once a week if I’m being honest. Steps do a lot of the work when calories are high.

I treat conditioning like hygiene now. 2 sessions minimum no matter what. If I skip it too long, my work capacity goes to trash and leg days feel way worse.

That’s a good point. I’ve noticed heavy compounds feel harder when I’ve been slacking on conditioning. Might explain why squats feel like death lately.

Low-impact stuff is clutch. Rower, sleds, brisk walks. No need to beat yourself up with HIIT unless you enjoy suffering lol.

I lift 5 days and just walk 8–10k steps daily. No “conditioning sessions” per se, but heart rate stays up enough. Simple and sustainable.

Been doing MMA-style circuits once a week. Kicks my ass but it’s fun, so I stick with it. That’s the key if it’s boring, you won’t keep it up.
