My experience with a SARM cycle: Ostarine and Cardarine
I just finished a 10-week cycle of Ostarine at 20mg/day and Cardarine at 10mg/day. I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering SARMs. I noticed a good increase in endurance and a slight improvement in lean mass, but the strength gains weren't what I expected. The suppression was also more noticeable than I thought it would be. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Re: My experience with a SARM cycle: Ostarine and Cardarine
That's a pretty common report from users of Ostarine. It's more of a muscle-preservation compound, especially during a cut, rather than a powerful bulking agent. The endurance from Cardarine is its primary benefit, so your experience there makes sense. The suppression is a real thing, which is why a light PCT is still often needed.
Re: My experience with a SARM cycle: Ostarine and Cardarine
I've seen similar feedback on Ostarine. It's good, but it's not a steroid. People who expect steroid-like gains are often disappointed. For Cardarine, the endurance boost is a game-changer for conditioning and cardio. It's one of the best for that purpose.
Re: My experience with a SARM cycle: Ostarine and Cardarine
The suppression you felt is a good reminder that SARMs aren't a "free pass." They still impact your hormones. I'd recommend getting blood work done to see where your levels are at post-cycle. It's the only way to know for sure if you need a proper PCT.
Re: My experience with a SARM cycle: Ostarine and Cardarine
I agree with WellnessWave. Even a "mild" SARM like Ostarine can cause HPTA suppression. A proper PCT with something like Nolvadex or Clomid is a good idea to ensure a full and fast recovery. Don't take any chances with your natural hormone production.
Re: My experience with a SARM cycle: Ostarine and Cardarine
It's all about managing expectations. SARMs are a tool, and they have their place, but they are not as powerful as anabolic steroids. They are great for maintaining mass on a cut or for a beginner not ready for the full commitment of a steroid cycle.
