The tricky part is figuring out how much to adjust without going overboard. Some people add an extra serving of rice or protein during a bulk, while others reduce calorie-dense foods and keep their protein intake high during a cut. I'm curious how everyone handles portion sizes in real life. Do you track every meal, use portion estimates, or adjust based on changes in your strength, weight, and overall progress?
One thing I've noticed in the gym is that changing your physique isn't just about switching up your workout routine. Your food portions make a huge difference, too. When bulking, you're trying to eat enough to support muscle growth, recover from heavy sessions, and keep your lifts moving up. When cutting, the goal shifts toward dropping body fat while holding on to as much muscle and strength as possible.

During a bulk, I usually add another serving of rice and a little extra protein. Nothing crazy, just enough to support my training.
