I have been working out regularly but sometimes I feel pain in my muscles after doing certain exercises. I want to make sure I am exercising safely and not doing anything that could lead to an injury. What do you guys usually do to avoid injuries and are there any tips I should follow
I always do a quick warm up before starting my workout. It really helps and I never skip it now
I think doing exercises the right way is more important than lifting heavy wrong form can cause injuries
I usually do some stretching before and after my workouts. It helps me feel more comfortable and ready for the next session
Proper form matters more than lifting heavy. It is always better to start light and learn the correct technique
Stretching after workouts has helped me a lot with flexibility. Also make sure you are not pushing yourself beyond your limits
I go through this too. What helps me is reminding myself why I started and taking things one day at a time
I would also recommend getting enough sleep and allowing your muscles to recover between workouts. Recovery is just as important as exercise
Never ignore pain just to finish your workout. Take a break if something doesn't feel right
I usually ask my trainer whenever I am not sure how to do an exercise. Better to ask than get it wrong
