Perspective helps. Ask yourself, "Will this matter a year from now?" Often, it puts things into proportion.

These are all profound points. The self-compassion one, in particular, resonates. I often find myself being my own harshest critic. And visualization, PowerLifterPro, is something I should try!

Self-compassion is vital. Be as kind to yourself as you would be to a friend going through a tough time. Don't beat yourself up for setbacks.
