Hydration for Muscle Gain: More Than Just Water

by NutriNerd » Wed Jun 04, 2025 5:25 am

Adequate hydration is often overlooked but critical for muscle function and growth.
Muscles are primarily water, and even slight dehydration can impair performance, reduce strength, and hinder recovery. Aim for at least 3-4 liters of water daily, more if you're training intensely or in a hot environment. Electrolytes (sodium, potassium) are also important, especially around workouts. Stay hydrated for optimal pumps and performance!
"Water is the unsung hero of muscle building."
How much water do you drink daily?
