Interesting. I'm definitely guilty of grabbing processed protein bars. Maybe I'll switch to kefir and nuts for a bit and see what happens. Thanks!

Don't underestimate fibre. Most athletes (especially low-carb ones) don't get enough. Fibre feeds the good bacteria. More veg, more nuts, more seeds. Simple fix, big impact on my mood.

Same for me. When my stomach is playing up (usually from too much sugar or artificial sweeteners), my sleep is dreadful and I feel really low-energy. They are definitely connected.

Big time. I cut out a lot of ultra-processed stuff and added in kefir and kimchi. Noticed my 'brain fog' lifted significantly after a couple of weeks. Feel less sluggish mentally.

Been reading a lot about the gut-brain axis. Wondering if anyone has actively tried to improve their gut health (probiotics, fermented foods, etc.) and noticed a *real* difference in mood, stress, or sleep?
