Time under tension is huge, NaturalNate. For me, it's a core principle of good training. No cheating reps!

I find increasing time under tension to be a great way to stimulate growth without adding weight. Holding a contraction for a few seconds can be brutal but rewarding.

Absolutely. I think people forget about increasing the number of reps with the same weight. If you can get 2 more reps than last week, that's progress! Simple but effective.

I've found that perfecting my form is a major one. More controlled movements, especially on the eccentric phase, feel like I'm getting more from less weight. It's a different kind of overload.

Great topic. I focus on reducing rest times. Cutting 15-30 seconds between sets on my accessory lifts really pushes me. It increases the volume density of the workout.
